Something I made this past week

So I decided to make my children

their halloween costumes this year.

I cannot tell you how much fun it was to make

this one.  A friend of mine asked if I could make

it for her daughter (she actually sent me a photo from

an Etsy listing).  Just the day before I was thinking I

should make my youngest Dorothy of Wizard of Oz, since

I convinced my oldest daughter to be a witch this year.  So I
agreed if she would make the tutus and I made the dress/apron.

I made this dress/apron without a pattern and just winged it!
We think it turned out great.  We're still searching for ruby slippers

but the costume is almost complete for my youngest.

Here is a simple photo of the costume (over normal clothes).

Now to just finish my oldest daughter's costume and we'll
be ready for Halloween!  Can't wait!
