A toast to my mother

Julia from Fuzzy Funk Designs here - I just wanted to take some time out to honour my mother today. We live three hours away from each other. She took two weeks off of her job when my daughter was born to stay and help me with her. In fact, one of her requirements when she started her job 6 months beforehand was to ensure that she could have two weeks off whenever the baby was born! At first I thought, "What kind of help could I possibly need?" Turns out the answer to that question is "A lot!" She was a constant and wonderful helper for the full two weeks, and there were tears in both of our eyes (actually, in my daugther's as well) when she drove away at the end of the time. So thank you Mommy for all that you did, and continue to do for me! I can't give you breakfast in bed, so this 'toast' will have to do until we see each other again. xoxo Julia
