When I was younger, I wanted to be a Marine Biologist.
My mom told me that you might need to know how to swim and since I have a phobia for swimming, I squashed that dream.
I then, taught myself Sign Language in the hopes of becoming an ASL interpreter but somehow that dream got sidetracked.
In high school, I was doing awesome in all my art classes, and wanted to become an artist.
My parents wanted me to get into University to study Business.
After one year of Business at University, I took a year off and found a job at a Law Firm.
I liked what I was doing and wanted to become a lawyer.
Two years in College, I changed my mind YET AGAIN but found a job during the summer with a lawyer/judge who loves me off and hasn’t allowed me to quit…6 years later, I am still here.
(No, seriously…I have given him a resignation letter about every other month, which he just tossed back at me..lol. I'm kind of awesome at what I do.)

I met my husband on an internet chat house, 8 years ago.
He was my first boyfriend, is my first love and my last.

I don't take pills.
I don't know how to swallow them.
I had the nurses bring me children tylenol in liquid form after I gave birth.
You can imagine how NOT so magical my recovery from childbirth was.

Growing up, my parents stressed the importance of having a hobby and to do something artistic (I have been sewing my entire life)
(although they didn't like the idea of us making a living from it).
The irony...I make a better living from designing and creating jewelry than at my full time job (which I went to school for).
The funny thing, I led the way with my creative rebellion, since my sister studied Music Management and my little sister just graduated University from a Painting program.

I've only been doing jewelry for a few years but I LOVE what I do and am constantly learning new techniques and improving my shop.
I have had no education or any kind of jewelry background.
I *wish* I could say that I've been doing all my life, but I can't.
On the flipside, I am always surprised at myself (and kinda proud) that I've grown so much in my talents and how much my little shop has taken off in the last few years.
