Hot enough for you? Hardy har har

I've always been a fan of the summer time. Bring on the heat, I'd say. The hotter the better, I'd say. Isn't that kitten cute? I'd say (but that's a different story). Yet this past week has been different. If you live anywhere from Saskatchewan to the maritimes right now, you, like me, are slowly melting. 45 degrees with the humidex?! That's just not right. And the best part? I'm knitting during it. Wool hats and mittens in the middle of a heat wave. Ha! Thank goodness I have a/c in my car - it's where I knit when my daughter falls asleep. But I couldn't be happier!! I wanted to take this moment to thank those of you that took part in my Heartsy deal. My fingers have gotten a workout as I have been knitting non stop since it started, and it makes me feel great that so many people like the stuff I make. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
