About Me
I'm Shannon, founder of Lil Divas Bowtique. I've been married for almost five years to a wonderful man and though we've been trying for almost seven years, we have no children of our own.
Hubby has a 13 year old daughter from a previous relationship and while she's way too old to make use of anything in my shop, she certainly does benefit from all the other fun stuff I tend to find/buy for her on Etsy! :)
When I'm not toiling away in my craft room, I work full time as a fundraiser for a large cancer hospital. I love my job and enjoy what I do which is so important to me!
How Did My Shop Start?
I've always been a crafty person but Lil Divas was born when I saw a hair clip holder and
thought, I could do that! I had three little girls in my life that were in need of gifts
- my cousin's new baby, my niece and my friend's daughter was turning one.
So I sourced materials, did a few test runs, and Lil Divas was born!
What is my favourite material?
Since I have so many different items, that's hard to narrow down! I will say that since getting into Etsy land I've developed an addiction to all kinds of ribbon. I'm always on the hunt for new colours and love finding a new grosgrain that will work well with my items!!

What was your last non-etsy creative pursuits?
Baking! Sadly for my waistline, I love to bake. Tonight I made two dozen easter creme egg cupcakes with buttercream icing for tomorrow morning's Royal Wedding party at a friend's house. I love looking up new recipes, trying new things, and wowing the family at special events.
What's next for your shop?
We just released two new items - coffee sleeves (currently just on our Facebook page - will be adding to Etsy soon!) and our car seat strap covers. Take a peek!!
And you heard it here first, we'll also soon be adding boy's neckties to the shop! Can't wait to share them with you as soon as I have some in stock.
